Top 5 Cat Cafe in Seoul That You Must Visit



In Korea, cafes are very easily found around every corner, and if you look closely there are so many weird yet interesting cafes such as dog cafes, fishing cafes, kids cafes, and far more. Today is the day for cat lovers. Do you want to just relax with adorable cats around you? Well, let me help you out. 


Below, I have rounded up a list of cat cafes in Seoul for you to experience. 



1. Cats Garden (고양이 정원)

Address: 18 Gaehwadong-ro 19-gil, Gangseo-gu, Seoul

Price: Adult 20,000 Won ($16) | Middle~ Highschool Student 15,000 Won ($12)| Elementary Student 12,000 Won ($9.5) | Below 4 years 10,000 Won ($8)

Opens: 11:00am ~ 10:00pm

Note: There is a two-hour time limit on weekends and holidays

Cat Garden is the first outdoor cat cafe in South Korea. It is a beautiful space in the center of the city where cats, nature, and people can spend time together. The cafe has indoor and outdoor areas. I especially recommend the outdoor where you can spend time with adorable cats and nature. Cats will be always around you so that you won’t be bored. 

But be aware that you are not allowed to bring your own cat.


2. Jipsaeui Haru Gangnam (집사의 하루 강남점)

Address: Seoul, Gangnam-gu, Yeoksam-dong, 813-3 3rd floor

Price:  10,000 Won ($8) Including 1 free drink

Opens: 12:00pm ~ 10:00pm

Note: There is a two-hour time limit on weekends and holidays

Jipsaeui Haru started in 2015 as a shelter for abandoned cats. The profit that they make goes to taking care of abandoned cats that are not yet adopted. Also being the largest cat cafe in Gangnam you can experience the spacious relaxing moments with those adorable cats. 

3. Yeonnamdong Cat Cafe (연남동 고양이 카페)

Address: Seoul, Mapo-gu, Yanghwa-ro 21-gil, 15 KR

Price:  9,000 Won ($7.2) Including 1 free drink

Opens: Mon & Thur 3pm ~ 10:30pm | Other days 12:30 pm ~ 10 :30pm

Note: Below 11 years are not allowed to enter. 

The location is in Hongdae which is one of the hottest areas in Seoul. There are few cat cafes in Hongdae but Yeonnamdong cat cafe is where I recommend because the cats are more clingy. They come up to you and ask for a cuddle.  How cute is that?



4. Cat's Playground (고양이놀이터 명동점)

Address: 37-14 Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul

Price: 12,000 Won ($9.6) Including 1 free drink

Opens: 12:00 pm ~ 10:00pm

Enjoy unlimited time with 52 cute cats! Cat's playground does not have a time limit even on holidays and weekends. If you want to be with the cats the whole day then this is the place that you should go.



5. Space Rocket (우주로켓)

Address: Jayang 4(sa)-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

Price: 8,000 Won ($6.4) Does not include a free drink

Opens: 1:00 pm ~ 08:00 pm
